Per usual for April, New York weather was a constant whirlwind this week. Some days were warm, others cold and rainy. Here’s what I wore for the never-ending fluctuation while trying to stay Spring forward and not lose my mind.
Monday — April 15th
Réalisation Par the Carla Dress / Vintage Prada Heels
Monday night was date night and I used the opportunity of the warm weather and fancy occasion for this gorgeous Realisation Par dress that I should have photographed more of. The heels are my new favorite RealReal purchase (vintage Prada for $150) and they are mint green croc embossed. I love the idea of a little green shoe adding a pop of color to a look, especially for the spring summer season. Really loved this outfit, simplicity is key and just one of those I felt genuinely good in.
Tuesday — April 16th
Margiela Co-Ed SS24 Button Up / Vintage Levi’s / Margiela Tabi’s / Bottega Veneta Arco Bag
Tuesday was a beautiful day and I wanted to do some Margiela-running errands. I was lucky enough to have these Margiela pieces gifted and wanted to try them out to see how they fit and felt for my daily activities. The Tabi’s are surprisingly one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I loved completely submitting to the masculine look with baggy jeans and keeping it very modestly shaped.
Wednesday — April 17th
Half Boy Embossed Jacket / The Row Mary Jane’s / Gucci Glasses / Ralph Lauren Jeans
This look had a little bit of a mix up throughout the day because of the weather. The day started off warm hence the second photo with the Tibi skirt, white socks, and Row Maryjanes. Then as it got colder I threw on a black long sleeve and my favorite RL jeans. Kind of a boring outfit but it felt comfortable and the embossed jacket with the Gucci glasses seemed like statement enough for the day.
Thursday — April 18th
Source Unknown Leiva Cowl-Back Blouse / Teurn Trousers / Camilla & Marc Belt / Neous Shoes / Jil Sander Goji Bag
One of my favorite looks of the week and surprisingly worked for a rainy day (I wore a black trench coat over). This Source Unknown top can be turned around so the Cowl neck is at the front and I think that is the most genius thing ever.
Saturday — April 20th
This outfit is very annoying because every single thing is vintage. I was feeling yet again very spring-like yesterday and wanted to bust out the green Prada’s for a second time. I loved the feminine top layers which I paired down with the vintage Levi’s.
Today is Sunday and my look of the day is a robe because I am catching up on all the writing I haven’t done this week (sowwwwy!) But please look forward to more articles and many more outfits from this week. I am feeling inspired and hope the weather continues co-operating for the most part so we can feel fresh and spring like.
