Styling Peter Do
beautiful, modular pieces made for the everyday woman
I first discovered Peter Do in 2019, when I stumbled upon a pleated skirt on Net-A-Porter styled over trousers — a look I immediately had to recreate. It quickly became one of my favorite outfits, and I was thrilled to have it captured by New York Fashion Week street style photographers at the time. From that moment on, I’ve been an ardent admirer of Peter and his work.
What strikes me most about his designs is their endless versatility. Take the silk charmeuse pieces, for instance — they can be layered in countless ways: a silk top over another, paired with a dress, finished with a skirt beneath. Yet each piece also holds its own beautifully, making just as much impact when worn alone. What I love is that investing in these pieces never results in a monotonous wardrobe. With their ties, cutouts, and fluid shapes, they invite endless experimentation and reinterpretation.
Here I have styled a couple of pieces, in all of their layered beauty, photographed by dear friend Brock De Haven.

For me, Peter Do represents more than just beautiful clothes — his designs capture the balance between strength and fluidity, structure and freedom. They remind me that style is meant to be lived in, layered, and reimagined, never static. And that’s exactly why I keep coming back to his work.

Until next time xx
