What I took home from my storage unit
For the seasonal change *
It has come time — to swap out linen-ny summer goods in exchange for all my vintage furs, packed securely away in suctioned plastic (cHIC) in my storage unit.
Matthew and I did the trek this very weekend, and I must say cleaning through my closet and attempting at making room for fall winter goods put a whole new pep in my step. I realized that going to your storage unit is almost like shopping in your own closet.
For a trying-to-save-money moment as I’m in right now, this was a very fun and money-saving self exploration into what I was loving from previous seasons and how I can work them into my current wardrobe. I forgot how many incredible things I do love from my previous fall winter wears. Without further ado, here are the items I took back home with me.
These the Row cashmere gloves
A Christmas gift one year from my parents, these are a splurge that I wear every single year come fall winter. They are so soft, elegant, and I love how high they come up on the arm — perfect for scrunching down for an effortless, on-the-go look, or worn long for a glamorous evening.
My extremely oversized Lemaire coat
I can’t remember how many years ago I bought this — maybe three / four? I was inspired by a celebrity who wore it, which is a very rare instance for me and had to have it, as oversized as worn. I got in on sale on Ssense and have never looked back. Worn last year like this…
